Andrew Sheldon

A leader in the radio and television industry for more than 20 years, Andrew Sheldon was appointed to his current position in November 2008, having served as Senior Vice President of Television since late 2006. As head of Television, he is responsible for all aspects of television production and broadcast engineering, on-air production, talent development, guest and partner on-air training, and set design. Since his arrival, Mr. Sheldon has directed the transformation of the network's on-air look, tone and feel.

In 2007, Mr. Sheldon was given the additional responsibility of Executive Creative Director for HSN, providing leadership and vision to all creative assets produced by and for the Company, including television and print advertising, branding and promotional materials, and video and b-roll production. Under his leadership, HSN has earned national awards for image spots that aired on broadcast television across the country, which he executive produced and directed.

Before joining HSN, Mr. Sheldon served as Head of Broadcasting for iBuy TV, an interactive, multi-format auction television channel based in London that he created. While there, he managed the team that was responsible for launching the innovative new network.

Prior to iBuy, Mr. Sheldon worked with Auction World TV, an interactive dynamic and fixed-price shopping channel based in London. He joined the network as Senior Presenter and advanced to Head of Broadcasting.

Before joining Auction World TV, Mr. Sheldon held on-air duties with top U.K. television and radio outlets including Shop! shopping channel, Heart 106.2, Capital Radio and Power FM. In the mid-1980s, he became a household name throughout England and parts of Europe as the highly engaging television host for "Fun Factory," a top-rated children's Saturday morning TV show broadcast throughout the U.K. and Europe via SKY Channel.
