As Chief Operations Officer for HSN, Inc. (HSNi) and its Cornerstone segment, Mark Ethier is responsible for all aspects of operations across HSN, HSN.com, and the Cornerstone portfolio of catalogs, retail stores and e-commerce sites. This includes customer care, fulfillment, logistics, information technology and administration, with an emphasis on improving the shopping experience for the Company's customers while maintaining consistent, cost effective service delivery. Mr. Ethier is also Director of Cornerstone's Executive Committee, overseeing the strategy and performance of the segment, in addition to its operations.

Mr. Ethier assumed his current role in August 2008. He joined HSN as Executive Vice President of Operations in June 2001 and took on the additional responsibilities as Chief Operations Officer in December 2004. During his tenure at HSN, Mr. Ethier has led the company's upgrade of its fulfillment capabilities, including the opening of HSN's largest fulfillment center in Piney Flats, Tennessee; improved shipping times for customers; implemented a multi-pack program to ship multiple orders of specific products in one package; and improved service levels in HSN's Customer Care department by implementing work force management strategies that increase flexibility.

Prior to HSN, Mr. Ethier worked in Southern California for the Walt Disney Company as Senior Vice President of Global Operations at The Disney Stores, where he defined and implemented strategies to improve revenue, profitability, and productivity throughout the company's store base in the US, Europe and Japan.

Mr. Ethier has broad industry experience with several different retailers across a number of retail segments, including department stores, specialty stores, mass market/discount and a variety of ownership structures including, public, private, family and V.C. In the course of his career, he has also held senior roles in operations, supply chain management, and information technology.

Mr. Ethier holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia
