Jim Pekarek joined Cornerstone Brands as Chief Financial Officer in 2005 and oversees all financial matters for the company, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and Information Technology.

Before joining Cornerstone Brands, Mr. Pekarek served as Vice President of Finance for The Spiegel Group for more than four years. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Outboard Marine Corporation. Previously, Mr. Pekarek held various financial positions at Coopers and Lybrand and Kraft.

Mr. Pekarek received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University and his Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University.
